For those bringing up a Hermes-Lite 2.0, please remember the Hermes-Lite 2.0 Getting Started wiki page. This is where we collect group knowledge to make it easier for people to bring their HL2 to life. If you haven't already done so, you first need to install the latest release of Thetis (x86 or x64 version) as it sets up things like skins and support for the new meter functionality. You need to install a relay buffer interface between the HL2 keying relay (EXTR) and the amplifier, to protect the HL2 from the transients that the relays in the amplifier generate when keyed. I use a RBI-1A by HamGadgets.com for that purpose. It comes with the appropriate prewired cables.

Hi Scott, The Thetis HL2 should show a correct SWR. You can try with Quisk to verify there is no hardware issue with SWR measurement on you unit. Some software (like Quisk) does allow you to create a profile by measuring power output with a more accurate device at various levels and then creating a correction table.
I've updated the HR-50 IO board firmware to support the amp's built-in ATU. With this new release, the IO Board can trigger an ATU tune cycle when the SDR software calls for it and report back success or failure. The source and a compiled binary are here: https://github.com/jimahlstrom/HL2IOBoard/tree/main/n1adj_hr50. There are some very clever people involved in producing the HL2. There are differences, as you would expect. I looked at the documentation before I ordered mine and I can't see anything else that you would need.
